Fort Bloqué is situated on the southern Brittany coast on one of the most beautiful beach areas in France. From Guidel in the north to Lamour in the south there are 16 miles of uninterrupted sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Every conceivable water activity is catered for in the immediate area and all beaches are very safe to use.

The house is just 500 yards from these sandy beaches and the rolling seas of the Atlantic Ocean. It provides self-catering rental / letting accommodation for 8/10 people – an ideal family house to let for you to enjoy your main summer holidays or for a special winter break or at anytime of the year.

Fort Bloqué has three restaurants, three further bars, tabac with post office, mini market and a boutique – all within walking distance of the house; very handy and no need to drive.

4 miles south east is the town of Ploemeur and 6 miles to the north the town of Guidel – both have supermarkets, banks, a selection of restaurants and all the facilities you find in any French town. The city of Lorient is only 10 miles away and offers a magnificent French shopping experience with dozens of chic boutiques and further restaurants to discover and explore. Lorient is a large port with a wonderful marina and a submarine museum, with ferry services to various islands along the coastline. Lorient hosts a very popular celtic music festival every year during the first week in August.
